Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
All booking requests must be reviewed and approved by Kasa Kita management before confirmation.
Once approved, full payment is required within the specified payment window to secure the reservation.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans sometimes change. To offer guests some flexibility while managing a private chalet effectively, Kasa Kita uses the following cancellation terms:
Full refund: Cancellations made 14 days or more before the scheduled check-in date.
50% refund: Cancellations made 7–14 days before the scheduled check-in date.
No refund: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled check-in date.
Additional Conditions
A reservation is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
Refunds apply to the total booking value, including accommodation charges and applicable fees.
Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance (medical, weather, transport disruptions, emergencies).
Date changes are treated as cancellations if a new date cannot be accommodated.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
No-shows are considered cancellations within 7 days and are non-refundable.
If Kasa Kita must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, guests receive a full refund and help with rebooking local accommodation if needed.
House Rules
Maximum number of guests as per booking confirmation.
No pets.
No smoking inside the property.
No parties or events.
Quiet hours: 10 pm–7 am.
No shoes inside the house.
Respect tatami areas and use the drying room appropriately.
Follow local waste disposal rules and separate rubbish as instructed.
Privacy Policy (Standard Summary)
Kasa Kita collects personal information such as names, contact details, passport numbers, and identification for booking management and compliance with local regulations. Data is stored securely and used only for operational purposes or as required by law. Information is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Guests may contact us to request access to or deletion of their personal information, subject to legal requirements.
Liability Disclaimer
Guests use the property and its facilities at their own risk. Kasa Kita management is not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage to belongings during the stay. Guests are responsible for supervising children and vulnerable persons, and for using all equipment and facilities safely.
Local Regulation Compliance
Kasa Kita operates in compliance with local laws and regulations regarding accommodation, guest registration, and safety standards. Guests must cooperate with any reasonable requests related to legal or safety obligations during their stay.
